Youth Creativity Shines at the Nashville Boys & Girls Club
We are delighted to celebrate a special project led by Brown Sugar Stitcher Alyssa Leonard, whose guidance helped young artists at the Nashville Boys & Girls Club create a remarkable community quilt.
Under Ms. Leonard’s supervision, the children designed and stitched a quilt that beautifully reflects their creativity, collaboration, and spirit. Their hard work paid off in a big way—the quilt earned more than $1,000 at the Club’s annual fundraiser.
This project is a wonderful example of how quilting can empower young people, build confidence, and bring communities together. Kudos to the talented children and to Ms. Leonard for inspiring the next generation of makers.
